John Taylor, Golden Oak, Antique Full Size Snooker Table

Fantastic oak full size snooker table in completely original condition, with original accessories.

 This antique full size snooker table was unearthed in a loft in a Perthshire house, where it has been since 1915.  The table is in completely original condition, and has never been re-covered.  It is stamped by the cabinet maker J Miller.  We have sympathetically revived and waxed the woodwork, and are currently replacing the cushion blocks. We will be re-rubbering and covering the cushions, and fitting a new bedcloth.

The table comes with its two original matching, revolving antique cue racks, and snooker scoreboard, along with original framed rules, cues, tackle and ivory balls.  Also included is the antique snooker iron by John Taylor. This set is an incredibly rare find, and this is a unique opportunity to purchase a complete antique set.

Circa 1895, this fantastic quality Burroughes and Watts, mahogany antique full size snooker table stands on 8 vase shaped, turned legs, and is a beautiful, light, mellow mahogany, with fantastic graining throughout.  It features the famous Burwat steel block championship cushions.

This table has been sympathetically French polished, retaining all the original patina.  The cushions will be re-rubbered and covered, and a new bedcloth will be fitted.

This table comes with a starter kit of used cues, balls and a small antique scoreboard.
