This lovely matched set of 8 light/golden oak antique dining chairs chairs is offered in excellent order, the woodwork has been revived and waxed and the seats have been professionally re-upholstered in a champagne colour fabric. All the chairs are sturdy and very comfortable. This set consists of 6 matching chairs (2 of which are slightly higher and would have been the head chairs ) and a pair which are a close match to the others. The uprights and top rail have a spoon back shape which makes them very comfortable to sit in added with a generous sized seat. The front legs are turned and fluted and terminate in elegant castors.

Antique Spanish Dining Chairs- Two Sets Available:

We have two sets of these early 18th century chairs, which are probably Spanish, all with fantastic naieve and rustic carvings and lovely patination. A few of the seats have a bit of movement but all are held firmly together by the rushwork which is in excellent condition. Some of the chairs have evidence of extinct woodworm damage. Some of the chairs have an arcaded top rail whilst others have a straight top rail. All of the chairs have at some point had restoration work to the bottom of the legs. Most of the chairs have slight discrepancies which just add to their historic appeal. Originally, we would imagine these chairs would have come from a church or tavern.  

 Please note, these chairs are quite narrow, and we would imagine, uncomfortable for the larger frame!

This rustic set of pine and fruitwood naïve carved chairs are offered in good condition, most have had repairs at some time but this just adds to their charm. These chairs would look great around a large refectory table.

 Set 2 A matched set of 10  pine and fruitwood Antique Spanish chairs C.1800 (Stock no B065)

This beautiful naive and rustic set of chairs in our opionin date to around the end of the 18^th century, (we have sent photos of these chairs to Christies and they are in agreement) they offer fantastic patination and the rush seats are in good order.All of the chairs have had restoration at some point especially to the bottom of the legs however this does nothing to deter from the charm of this unique set.
