Edwardian Walnut Overmantle circa 1910 B378
This is a beautiful walnut overmantle. Large, yet with slender proportions, this Edwardian overmantle is in the Regency style. With a large, bevelled mirror (there is some slight foxing to the top edge), flanked on either side by pretty fielded panels, and vase shaped supports. Above the mirror, on four supports is a shaped shelf with a cornice featuring carved acanthus leaves, rising to a vase-decorated centre point. A lhuge amount of detail on this stunning piece. Measurements: Height 42inches, width 54 inches.
